CLEARWATER RECEIVES COMMUNITY CONNECTION AWARD FOR THE SAEGERTOWN BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND ROUND-A-BOUT PROJECT

The awards committee noted, “This project was a highly successful solution to a long-running congestion problem, effectively increasing traffic flow and enhancing mobility.”

The inaugural TQI & Partnering Awards Banquet, hosted on April 12, 2018, by the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors in conjunction with the Construction Innovation Conference, celebrated outstanding achievements in the highway and bridge construction industry on projects initiated in 2017. On this spring evening in State College, Pa., the Industry was joined by top officials from PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and the Federal Highway Administration in recognizing excellence in three categories:

Construction Partnering
Recognizing partnership teams that demonstrate a high-level of achievement through their practice of the Partnering principles and processes related to the transportation industry.

Community Connection
Recognizing projects that head a positive impact on quality of life in communities.

Diversity
Honoring private and public sector organizations that are champions in advancing diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion within their workforce, business processes and in the communities they serve.
