SR 1001 IMPROVEMENTS

This project included the construction of a Soldier Pile Retaining Wall along SR 1001 in Clinton County, PA. Construction also included waterline and sewer line relocations, asphalt paving, drainage items of pavement base drains, piping and inlets, sidewalks, curbing, ornamental light poles, guide rail, pavement markings and miscellaneous construction.

Clearwater Construction's team installed a soldier beam, concrete lagging wall, and provided an anchor system at 65’ deep, 7" Diameter hole and installed 5 strand permanent rock anchors. The team also added a new Moment Slab, Decorative Railing and Sidewalk for viewing of River events held at the adjacent park. As a result of this work, a safer pedestrian passageway was created by rerouting traffic.
