MONROE COUNTY BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

This project, located on US Route-209 over Appenzell Creek in Stroudsburg, PA, involved a very high-speed traffic situation, where two merge zones of 2 lanes each merge into one 2-lane work zone.

With very limited right-of-way, and extremely difficult ground conditions, including 18” pipe pile going over 120’ deep in areas, this work was necessary to alleviate unsafe conditions for motorists.
