BRANDYWINE CREEK BRIDGE
This project included the replacement of Street Rd. Bridge over Brandywine Creek and replacement of an existing under-designed large diameter pipe with a double cell precast arch structure at Radley Run.
This project was for the replacement of the existing Street Road Bridge over the Brandywine Creek with a 3-span composite pre-stressed concrete bulb tee beam bridge and the replacement of an existing pipe with a 2-span precast arch. There was major earthwork performed raising the profile of the entire roadway, along with drainage, concrete curb, total new construction of the asphalt roadway, wetland mitigation, new traffic signal construction, tree planting.
The schedule was very aggressive and had to be completed by September 1, 2017. Clearwater opened the project on August 25, 2017.
